As of 1/24/24, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The work to be performed under this Contract consists of furnishing all labour, equipment, and materials, BUT IS NOT LIMITED to the following: Reconfiguration of existing site/gravity retaining walls, utilities, paving, new lighting, plantings and earthwork. Project goal to provide a pedestrian connection between Lambert Castle and the Carriage House for pedestrian access. Work shall be completed in a professional manner consistent with and complying with the Secretary of the Interior Standards for Historic Preservation. The Contractor shall be required to pay all workmen engaged in the performance of the Contract prevailing wages as ascertained from the Commission of Labor and Industry for the locality in which the public work is to be performed for each craft or trade or classification of all workmen needed to perform the Contract during the anticipated term thereof. The Contractor shall keep an accurate record showing the name, craft, or trade, and actual hourly rate of wages and benefits paid to each workmen employed by him in connection with any public work, which records shall be preserved for two (2) years from the date of payment; and the Contractor shall post the prevailing wage rates for each craft and classification involved, as determined by the Commission of Labor and Industry, including the effective date of any changes thereof in prominent and easily accessible places at the site of the work and at such place as used by them to pay workmen for wages due on account of the public work. The Contractor recognizes that the County has the right to reject VE proposals and cannot base its bid on the anticipated approval of a VE proposal.
