The Cherokee Nation is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors for the complete construction of the Durbin Elder Housing Project located in Tahlequah (Cherokee County), Oklahoma. Interested parties are to provide bids to furnish all labor, quality control, materials, supplies, and supervision to complete the project. The project must be completed within Days to Complete as specified on bid response sheet after Notice to Proceed issued by Cherokee Nation. The specifications, scope of work, and all pertinent dates are available in the bid packet and instructions. Indian Preference applies to all Cherokee Nation requests for bids or proposals. To receive preference, bidder must be TERO certified through the Cherokee Nation Tribal Employment Rights Office; proof of certification must accompany submittals. Successful bidder will be obligated to comply with Tribal rules and regulations and TERO. Every request for interpretation of the meaning of the plans, specifications, or other pre-bid documents must be submitted in written format to Cherokee Nation Procurement Department. Due date for all interpretation requests for this bid shall be Wednesday, August 23, 2023 by 5:00 p.m. CT.
