Renovation of a detention facility in Tarboro, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 49,241-square-foot detention facility.
Bids shall be reviewed by the Owner for the furnishing of labor, material and equipment entering into the construction of the Edgecombe County Detention Center Reroofing project. Bidders shall be advised of the results. Bids will be received for a Single Prime Contract. John Hamm gave a brief description of the project. i. Existing two-level 49,241sf ballasted EPDM roof. Remove existing roofing system to steel deck and replace with new FR decking, polyisocyanurate insulation and 60mil TPO. ii. Mechanical and roof mounted equipment removal and reinstallation. iii. Associated electrical and plumbing work. iv. Removal and replacement of scuppers. v. Replacement of skylight covers. vi. Removal and reinstallation of gutters. vii. Removal and reinstallation of copings Submit all questions via email to John Hamm at jhamm@oakleycollier.com. a. Responses that require modifications or clarifications to the bidding documents will be issued in writing, via addendum
