Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Montgomery, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Bids must be received in a sealed envelope addressed with the name of the Bidder, Owner, Project name, and date and time of the Bid. The scope of the work includes but is not limited to, erosion control, grading, drainage, underdrains, asphalt and concrete paving, construction of a new parking lot, four pickleball courts with sport court surfacing and fencing, playground, asphalt trail, and 2 shade sail shelters. The work also includes turf seeding, temporary seeding, pollinator habitat seeding, storm sewers, water service connections and sanitary service connections for future park improvements. The Bid includes one Alternate scope of work item of planting pollinator habitat plugs. All addenda and associated Bid Documents shall be issued through the Vesco Plan Room. The Fox Valley Park District shall not be responsible for information received or not received through any other source. Specifications require the submittal of a 10% Bid Surety with the proposal. Following the award of the contract, the successful contractor(s) must be able to provide a satisfactory Performance Bond, Labor, and Material Payment Bond, and required proof of insurance. All contracts for work herein are subject to all District rules and regulations and are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (812 ILCS 130/1-12). All bids will remain firm for sixty (60) days after the bid opening. Fox Valley Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive bid formalities, and to accept the lowest responsible bid that serves the best interests of the District.
