A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The work to be done consists of furnishing all labor, methods or processes, implements, tools, machinery, construction equipment, materials of any kind, and installed manufactured equipment, except as otherwise specified herein to be furnished by the City or from sources provided by the City, which are required to construct in a good and professional manner all the work herein provided for. The Department of Public Works for the City of Capitola is currently advertising for bids for the construction of the following project: Capitola Road Pavement Rehabilitation Project General work description: This project will consist of pavement rehabilitation along Capitola Road between 30th Avenue and 41st Avenue. The pavement rehabilitation will consist of removing 4 inches of the existing pavement section and replacing with hot mix asphalt (HMA). Isolated areas of pavement failure will be excavated an additional 4 inches and replaced with HMA. Associated Portland cement concrete (PCC) improvements, such as curb ramps, sidewalk, and curb and gutter, are also part of the project. The striping will be updated as well.
