Site work and paving for a road / highway in Adelanto, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project generally consists of sanitary sewer and watermain replacement, removal of existing asphalt concrete pavement, aggregate base, subgrade, concrete curb access ramps and reconstruction of subgrade, aggregate base, asphalt concrete pavement overlay, traffic striping, concrete curb access ramp and cross gutter. The City of Adelanto reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to award a Contract to the bidder who best meets its requirements. The Contractor shall pay the City of Adelanto the sum of $1,000.00 per day for each and every calendar day delay in finishing the work in excess of the contract time period of 120 CALENDAR DAYS as Liquidated Damages. Bids must be accompanied by a Bidders Bond in the form of a certified or cashiers check or a corporate surety bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid amount. Prior to execution of the Contract, the successful bidder shall provide one-hundred percent (100%) Faithful Performance and one-hundred percent (100%) Payment bonds based on the bid amount accepted by the City. Any prospective bidder desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitations, specifications, etc., must request it in writing to: Saba Engineer, P.E.
