The 66th ABG/CEOES is seeking to procure cleaning services for boilers #2, 3 and 4 at the central heating plant at Hanscom AFB. The boilers need to be cleaned in order to operate properly and efficiently. If the boilers are not cleaned there could be an interruption of service, resulting in heat loss to several facilities on Hanscom, AFB. The boilers will not run efficiently if they are not cleaned. This will result in costly increases in fuel usage. Boilers require cleaning to avoid breakdown of key components and parts.The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, hoses, gauges, test equipment and materials, necessary to clean boiler(s) #2,3,4. The Contractor shall Clean Fire sides, clean economizers and incoming and outgoing piping on boilers #2, 3, 4, using the Dry Ice method of cleaning, in accordance with all applicable National, United States Air Force, State, and local building codes. Evaluate the structural condition of boiler components and piping, annotate condition and any deficiencies. The contractor shall provide a written report of component condition(s) and serviceability.
