As of Sept 21, 2023 the owner was able to hire a contractor and clean up the property before our deadline. Indiana Code 36-7-9-11 that the Miami County Plan Commission is seeking sealed bids from licensed contractors for the demolition and disposal of the building located at 5039 E 400 S, Peru, IN 46970, Parcel Number 52-12-16-200-003.001- 003. Demolition shall be in accordance with the specifications now on file in the office of the Miami County Plan Commission. Bids received after the stated time will not be accepted. No bid will be considered unless the bidder is licensed and qualified pursuant to Indiana law and/or registered with the Miami County Plan Commission pursuant to Miami County Ordinance. All bids are to be "not to exceed" bids. Bids may be on State Form 52414 as prescribed by the Indiana State Board of Accounts and shall contain such statements as are required by law. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of at least Five Percent (5.00%) of the bid and a certificate of insurance must be filed with each bid in order for the bid to be considered.
