Site work for a water / sewer project in Whitesville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work to be bid includes the construction of approximately 3,400 L.F. of 6" waterline, including all appurtenances as shown on the contract drawing and plans. Bids shall be accompanied by certified check or bid bond made payable to the City of Whitesville, in an amount not less than 5 percent of the base bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the date bids are opened. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any bidding informalities and to reject any or all bids, to add to or delete from any part of the project, to construct any portion of the project or to construct the entire project, for any reason deemed advisable by the City of Whitesville. The right is reserved by the OWNER, in the exercise of its sole judgment to reject any or all bids, and to readvertise and award the contract in the regular manner or to waive any informalities, irregularities, mistakes, errors or omissions in any bid received and to accept any bid deemed to be responsive to this invitation and favorable to the interests of the owner. The award of the project will be to the low evaluated, best, responsive, responsible, and qualified BIDDER. Small and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises are encouraged to bid on this project.
