Renovation of a military facility in Minnesota City, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District seeks a contractor to iInstall spray foam insulation in the ceiling and all four walls with closed cell Sprayed Polyurethane Foam (SPF) insulation in the Lower Control Stand at Lock & Dam 5. The Contractor shall supply all equipment, labor, and materials necessary to install newclosed cell (SPF) insulation in accordance with local building codes. Apply 4" foam thickness to the underside of the roof panels and 3" foam thickness at the walls. The buildings inside dimensions are 11'-8" x 8'-8" x 7'3" tall. The existing walls are pre-cast concrete with 3" metal framing. The underside of the roof will be accessed through the rough at the existing light fixture. Contractor shall posses a current industry recognized accreditation or certification for high pressure spray polyurethane foam insulation. Documentation must be provided to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) at the pre-work conference. Contractor shall warranty work for one year. The Government recommends a site prior to quoting the work. This solicitation is a Request for (RFQ). Bonds are NOT required. The preferred method for submitting is electronically by emailing a PDF attachment of the signed SF1442 to John.P.Riederer@usace.army.mil This solicitation is 100% - for Small Business. Amendments (if any) may be acknowledged by completing Block 19 on the SF1442, or submitting a signed copy of the SF30 Amendment form. Offerors must be fully registered in the System for Management (SAM), to include applicable FAR and DFARS Representations and Certifications. Offers will not be considered from entities without a current SAM registration. The purpose of this construction contract is to insulate the Lower Control Stand at Lock & Dam 5 by installing closed cell spray polyurethane foam (SPF) insulation in the ceiling and all four walls. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 238310, Drywall and Insulation Contractors, with an SBA Size Standard of $19,000,000. This solicitation and contract is 100% - for Small Businesses. The estimated of construction is between $5,000 and $15,000. *The for this project is based on a financial range.
