The purpose of this Request for Pre-Qualifications (RFPQ) is to invite interested General Contractors (Respondents) to submit Responses indicating their interest in and qualifications for the Burnaby Hospital Xray Replacement in Room 3 Project (E07900). Based on these Responses, Fraser Health Authority (Authority) intends to select, in accordance with the terms of this RFPQ, a short-list of Respondents will be invited to participate in the next stage of the Construction Tender process. The scope of work of the project is Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and IMIT works associated with the replacement of the Philips X-Ray Equipment in Burnaby Hospital, Room 335. This includes, but is not limited to, reconfiguration of the X-Ray control room, new finishes throughout, new structural support for the overhead scanning tube and patient lift, revised mechanical HVAC ducting and units, revised plumbing for a new sink within the room, revised medical gas lines and heads from local isolation, relocation of sprinkler heads (x2) and addition of one (1) sprinkler head, electrical conduit and power to the room for Philips equipment, revised power to the room, new backup power (UPS) provided by Fraser Health and installed by Contractor, new lighting, new data, new clinical cameras, coordination of all trades on site including shut-downs coordinated with users and FMO, and general management of the construction process within Fraser Health Contractor Guidelines and to the contract documents.
