Bids are invited for several items and quantities of work as follows: The Project entails the construction of a 1.6 mgd package Wastewater Treatment Plant complete in place including blowers, waste sludge pumps, sodium hypochlorite storage and feed facilities, electrical building, yard piping, site grading, and all associated work for the proposed construction. This Project is federally funded by a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Freeport or negotiable U. S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. Provide performance and payment bonds for this Project that fully comply with the provisions of Tex. Gov't Code Chapter 2253.
