Renovation of a municipal facility in Champaign, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Champaign Park District is requesting bids for the roof replacement at the Operations Facility, located at 2311 W. John St., Champaign and two barns at the Children's Prairie Farm, located at 2202 W. Kirby Ave., Champaign. Enclosed is a copy of the bid information. John St, Champaign, Illinois Remove and dispose of all existing roofing materials including all shingles, underlayment, flashing, and drip edge. Replace with an asphalt shingle system as specified. Roughly 11,350 sqft. Remove and dispose of roughly 190 linear feet of guttering on the west and east sides and replace with Ceco Building Systems Edgecraft box gutters to match the existing on newer addition. Remove and dispose of roughly 80 linear feet of downspouts on the west and east sides and replace with 5 inch to match existing on newer addition. Replace four (4) vent pipe boots and one (1) rusted furnace vent stack. Prairie Farm, 2202 W. Kirby Ave., Champaign, Illinois Remove and dispose of all existing wooden roofing materials including all shingles, underlayment, flashing, and drip edge. Replace with asphalt shingling system to match all the rest of the buildings. GAF Timberline HDZ (Golden Harvest)
