These specifications are intended to cover the purchase, installation, removal, and disposal of a chain link substation perimeter fence. The fence is to secure an area measuring approximately 1200 linear ft. (including a partition between the substation and generation yards), with four (4) 20 ft. double drive gates and two (2) 4 ft. walk gates, per the attached drawing. The installation will enclose an existing substation located at 1013 Reynolds St., Springfield, IL 62702. B. Fence delivery and erection shall be arranged with Chris Lucchesi after receiving purchase order by calling (217) 321-1458. C. Perimeter fence installation, removal, and disposal at Reynolds Substation shall begin and be completed without interruption, within working days specified in Section III, Subsection 2.0 - Schedule, after a start date has been established, or as specified by CWLP. All grounds, which may be damaged during installation, shall be rectified by installer after completion of fence. D. A site visit for measurements can be scheduled during the bid period and shall be arranged with contact listed above. Please provide a twenty-four hour notice prior to a site visit.
