The Contractor shall perform, within the time stipulated in the Contract Time, the Contract as herein defined, of which this Agreement is a component part, and everything required to be performed and shall provide and furnish any and all utility and transportation services necessary to perform the Contract and complete in a workmanlike manner all of the construction Work covered by the Contract in connection with the Owner's Project (COB Contract) in strict conformity with the Plans and Specifications, including any and all Addenda issued by the Owner, along with the other Contract Documents. City of Bothell will receive sealed bids for the following construction project. The Ultra Custom Care Cleaners Site Soil Remediation proposes to proposes to remove and dispose offsite of chlorinated volatile organic compound contaminated soil from the former dry cleaner source property to achieve compliance with the cleanup standards outlined in the Model Toxics Control Act. The general aspects of this work will involve removal of existing pavement and foundations; well decommissioning, excavation, hauling and landfill disposal of contaminated soil; soil mixing with zero-valent iron; backfill placement and compaction; and asphalt paving. The total estimated cost for this project is in the range of $250,000 to $325,000. The number of working days for Physical Completion of this project is 20.
