SFID is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to provide Construction Management (CM) and Inspection Services for the Filter Wash water Header and Associated Piping Project (J2354). The Filter Wash water Header and Associated Piping Project (J-2354) generally consists of replacing filter surface wash piping (approximately 400 feet of 16-inch steel fusion-bonded epoxy pipe, 7,200 feet of 3-inch PVC pipe, pipe supports, a 16 BFV, and miscellaneous appurtenances) within the six filters at the R.E. Badger Filtration Plant. Notice inviting bids for the construction of this project has been advertised and plans and specifications for project can be downloaded from the Santa Fe Irrigation District's website at selecting "Bids/Projects", then selecting Listing of Capital Projects and selecting the specified project. The Question deadline has been extended to Friday, November 17th at 12:00 P.M The work generally consists of the replacing filter surface wash piping within the six filters at the R.E. Badger Filtration Plant . The construction estimate for this project is $1.2 MILLION. Bids must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashiers check, or a Bid Bond in favor of District in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the submitted Total Bid Price. The successful bidder will be required to furnish District with a Performance Bond equal to 100% of the successful bid, and a Payment Bond equal to 100% of the successful bid, prior to execution of the Contract. All bonds are to be secured from a surety that meets all of the State of California bonding requirements, as defined in Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120, and is admitted by the State of California. Award of Contract: District shall award the Contract for the Project to the lowest responsible bidder as determined from the base bid alone by District. District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding process.
