Renovation of an educational facility in Columbus, Ohio. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of May 29, 2025, an engineer has been selected and this project is in the final planning phase. It is anticipated bidding will commence in a couple months. Construction expected to sart in 2026. Engineer firm information has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: This is a State Funded project and will address various issues on the Marion Campus. This project impacts two buildings and one pond with a bridge. Morrill Hall - Boiler replacement, expecting like for like replacement. Library & Classroom Building - Building envelope maintenance to address deficiencies that may include, but not be limited to, sealant repairs, waterproofing rehabilitation, flashing repairs and/or masonry repairs. Pond - Structural analysis of existing bridge & potential repairs to the east bank and the bridge. The A/E will complete a program of requirements based on the variety of work in the scope and provide a recommendation of what should be included in this project based on the available construction budget. The University reserves the right to add and modify scope. Controlling Board approval is required for the A/E and GC contracts to be released.
