The work to be performed under Contract No. T200.603, which is expected to be awarded at the November 2023 Commission Meeting, will consist of roadway lighting and power distribution upgrades at Interchange 15E, Milepost 106.0 to 107.5, and Interchange 15W, Milepost 107.5 to 109.1. Work will include the removal of existing Turnpikeowned roadway lighting systems and installation of a multiple phase power distribution system with LED luminaires, including new conduit (where existing cannot be reused) and wiring to include a dedicated neutral wire for each phase. In addition to downed light pole locations, new light poles are proposed for this project in areas where it is feasible to extend the lighting zones. The estimated construction cost for Contract No. T200.603 is approximately $29,000,000 with an estimated duration for construction of twenty-six (26) months, including contract closeout.
