C.1 OF CONTRACT 1.0 of Work Bridge replacement work consists of the removal of an existing 24' long, single-lane timber bridge and the installation of a 28'-1" span, 9'-6" rise, and 28' long steel structural plate arch with welded wire headwalls. Additional work includes embankment construction with mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) wall, realignment of 550 feet of approach road, installation of a 24" diameter CMP culvert, installation of guardrails, reconstruction of stream channel, and obliteration of the existing approach road. C.2 PROJECT The Gibb Wash bridge is located approximately 20 miles northeast of Tucson Arizona, on National Forest System Road (NFSR) 38, also known as Control Road, on the Santa Catalina Ranger District, Coronado National Forest, Pinal County, AZ, Township 11S, Section 15, Range 16E. The estimated construction date of Gibb Wash Bridge is around 1950. Many modifications have occurred since the construction including a running board replacement in the early 1990s and the bridge deck and guardrail installed in 2000. Additional work including the installation of a concrete and steel center pier and wooden backwalls on the abutments. C.3 OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECT The of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Offerors are encouraged to submit all questions in writing at least five (5) days prior to the conference. Questions will be considered at any time prior to or during the conference; however, offerors will be asked to confirm verbal questions in writing. Subsequent to the conference, an amendment to the solicitation containing an abstract of the questions and answers, and a list of attendees, will be disseminated. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
