The City of Fayetteville is soliciting bids for the construction of the Sunbury Drive Drainage Improvements along Sunbury Drive, Needham Drive, Rosehill Road, and Pleasant Loop. COF1516834.3 Installation of storm drain replacement system along Pleasant Loop, Rosehill Road (NCDOT Maintained Road), Needham Drive, and Sunbury Drive with the crossing of Rosehill Road (NCDOT Maintained Road) to be accomplished by trenchless methods. Project also includes sections of water main relocation along Pleasant Loop and Sunbury Drive and also crossing Rosehill Road (NCDOT Maintained Road) by trenchless methods; sections with sewer manhole and sewer main replacement; and water services and sewer lateral replacement. Removal and replacement of asphalt curb, asphalt pavement, concrete/asphalt/gravel driveways, concrete sidewalk, and landscaping. R/W and private property restoration as necessary during and after construction The Project has an expected duration of 400 days. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Owner and Engineer in writing. Questions received less than forty-eight (48) hours prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid Security made payable to City of Fayetteville in the amount of five (5) percent of the Bidder’s maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates). Owner may annul the Notice of Award and retain the Bid Security of the apparent Successful Bidder upon Bidder’s failure to execute and deliver the Agreement or Amendments to the Agreement. Bid Securities are to remain in effect until the Contract is executed. Bid bonds will become void and checks will be returned by the Owner when the Contract is awarded, or all Bids are rejected.
