Estimated Cost : $2,900,000 SCOPE OF WORK The work under this Contract consists of roadway rehabilitation to Chester Road, Hammond Road, Fletcher Road, Washington Street, Bright Road, and Mill Street in the Town of Belmont, Massachusetts. The rehabilitation includes the roadway reclamation, roadway reconstruction, hot mix asphalt overlay, and installing new curb and sidewalk at specified locations. The total roadway length included in the Contract is approximately 10818 linear feet (2.05 miles). The work includes reclamation of existing asphalt pavement, full depth roadway reconstruction, pavement milling, pavement overlay, unclassified excavation, installing new granite curb, minor cement concrete sidewalk, hot mix asphalt sidewalk, cement concrete pedestrian curb ramps, cement concrete driveway, hot mix asphalt driveway, drainage structure adjustments, pavement markings, loam and seed, and other incidental work. The Contractor shallestablish a Quality Control System (QCS) for hot mix asphalt pavement.
