Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Middletown, Ohio. Completed plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
As of August 7, 2024, an architect and a construction manager@risk has been selected. Sub-bidding is complete. Construction is expected to start in October and end January 2026. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: This Project is anticipated to include design and construction administrative services for the construction of an approx. 25,000 square foot educational hangar facility to be located at the Middletown Airport. The facility will include approx. 10,000 square feet of hangar space, and approx. 15,000 square feet of offices, classrooms, and labs to support career technical educational delivery. The program offerings will include airframe and propulsion pathways, private pilot, and other aviation related manufacturing and supporting programs. The Owner reserves the right to waive any defect or technicality in any SOQ received or to eliminate any firm that submits an incomplete or inadequate SOQ or that is not responsive to the requirements of this RFQ. All questions concerning this RFQ shall be directed in writing via email to David Plotts at plottsd@butlertech.org by 5pm 9 calendar days prior to the submittal deadline.
