Site work and renovation of a civil project in Abington, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 1,288-square-foot water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of work includes construction of a new building housing GAC filter vessels for PFAS removal, a new submersible well pump and associated piping and appurtenances, a new aboveground water storage tank, a new building housing backwash supply pump, site piping, modifications inside the existing water treatment plant and associated Bid Alternates. Estimated construction cost: $5,250,000. Bid security for all general bidders and sub-bidders in the form of a bid bond, cash, certified check, treasurer's or cashier's check. The selected contractor shall furnish a performance bond and a payment bond in amount at least equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The Contractor shall fully complete the project within 730 consecutive days of the start date fixed in the Notice to Proceed. Prevailing Wage Rates Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Director of the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development under the provision of the Massachusetts General Laws, The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in bids and to reject any or all bids.
