As of October 21, 2025, the project design is nearing completion. An engineer and construction manager have been selected for the project. Construction is estimated to start in late 2025 and complete within two years. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: This will be a Construction Manager at Risk Project pursuant to ARS Section 34-601 et seq. A general description of the Project is: Phase 2 of Desert Sky Park will focus on Parks and Recreation amenity development for the remaining 72 acres and will include 12 multipurpose fields including a championship field with bleachers, a festival area for food truck and gathering spaces, splash pad, trail head, restroom building, Sensory Playground, and Parking accommodations for all the amenities in addition to a maintenance building. The project includes reclaimed water line and reclaimed water recovery for peak irrigation demands. This project will focus on the build-out of the unimproved areas of Desert Sky Park. *Subcontractor bidding may be ongoing for select trades. Interested subcontractors should contact the awarded construction manager to check on available bidding opportunities.
