Base Bid: Pipe cleaning to remove iron and manganese buildup using hydraulic polyurethane pigging of the Mine Brook Wellfield raw water mains consisting of approximately 1,650 linear feet (LF) of 8-inch, 3,220 LF of 10-inch, 3,650 LF of 12-inch, and 1,230 LF of 16-inch cement-lined cast iron and ductile iron raw water mains along Robbins Road, Pemberton Street, Turco Drive, Leonard Road, and multiple well access drives. Bid Alternate #1: Pipe cleaning to remove iron and manganese buildup using hydraulic polyurethane pigging of the Washington Street Wellfield raw water mains consisting of approximately 2,180 LF of eight-inch and 3,000 LF of 12-inch cement-lined cast iron and ductile iron raw water mains along Washington Street and multiple well access drives. The required contract completion period is as follows: BASE BID: SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION: 60 DAYS FINAL COMPLETION: 90 DAYS BASE BID PLUS BID ALTERNATE NO. 1: SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION: 90 DAYS FINAL COMPLETION: 120 DAYS Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, cash, certified check, treasurer's or cashier's check payable to the Owner, is required in the amount of five percent of the bid. The selected contractor shall furnish a performance bond and a payment bond in amount at least equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price as stipulated in Section 00700 GENERAL CONDITIONS of these specifications.
