Renovation of a medical facility in Abbotsford, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

This is the first phase (Phase One) of a two-phase competition. The first phase will evaluate the qualifications of all bidders. The second phase, (Phase Two), will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings which will be accessible through SAP Ariba. Upon award of a contract in Phase Two, the pre-qualification list resulting from the first phase will expire and will not be used in any other solicitation. Following Phase Two solicitation closing, bid results will be recorded and may be obtained by e-mailing a request to the address indicated in the Invitation to Tender. This Contract covers the following work at the Pacific Institution - Building A at 33344 King Road, Abbotsford, BC 1. Entire project scope shall include three movement controls Range C, Range D and Range F in Common Room C112, D112 and F112. CSC will close range C, D, E and F. All other areas within building A shall be remain operational for CSC functions. 2. Remove existing furniture for the construction. 3. Install temporary construction barrier, specified within this section. 4. Proceed with minor demolition to facilitate new partitions and sliding gates installation. 5. Install new stud wall partitions and detention grade sliding gates to separate common rooms in building A, range C, D and F. 6. Modify existing electrical and mechanical systems in accordance with new partitions and sliding gates. 7. Patch and make good for the affected areas, floor and ceiling finishes. 8. Apply new paint finish per drawings. 9. Install existing furniture and consult with CSC for new locations. And remove temporary construction barriers for occupancy. Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but not limited to, the following items covered further in the Contract documents: 1. Provide a detailed work plan including a project schedule and phasing. This detailed work plan shall be submitted to the Departmental Representative for review to verify that there will be no interruption of service. 2. Do not start work until all essential equipment is delivered to the site and the work can proceed without delays. 3. Provide as-built drawings and closeout submittals.
