A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The Project involves: Construction of a new liquor store facility in the City of Two Harbors. The approximate 10,500 SF new building will consist of: walk in cooler area, retail space and bathrooms. Construction includes but is not limited to: Concrete, Masonry including new specialized taconite veneer, Steel, Carpentry, Thermal Properties, Openings, Finishes, Specialties, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Earthwork, Miscellaneous Landscaping and select Civil work, etc. All bids must be sealed and clearly marked, "BID FOR: TWO HARBORS MUNICIPAL LIQUOR STORE", along with bidder's name, and must be accompanied by a certified check or bidder's bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the net base bid amount, payable to the order of CITY OF TWO HARBORS, MN, as warranty that the successful bidder will enter into a contract and furnish the usual Bonds (Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond) as required by the Specifications within ten (10) days after Notice of Award of Contract. No Bidder shall modify, withdraw or cancel their Bid or any part thereof for sixty (60) days after the date designated for the receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract to other than the lowest bidder, if in their discretion the interest of the project will be best served thereby. This project is subject to Prevailing Wage Rates, and Responsible Contractor Certification.
