OPWDD's Staten Island DDSO is looking to obtain bids for Replace Chilled Water Coil per the attached scope of work. This is a NYS Public Works Project and Prevailing Wages MUST be paid. Any questions or requests for clarification regarding the information provided may be directed to Brooklyn.CMM.Bids@opwdd.ny.gov Contract term: 30 days of award Location: 930 Willowbrook Road Bldg 12G Staten Island NY Question Deadline 09/05/2023 This project will involve inspection of the air handler that is located on the roof and take measurements of the old coil. This is to ensure that the new coil fits perfectly. Please be advised that crane might be needed to hoist the coil to the roof and to facilitate the removal of the old coil. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be completed within 30 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned and all materials secured at the end of each work day. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of replacing the CHW coil, and before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintenden COPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Inspect coil and take measurements 2. Procure new CHW coil 3. Remove old CHW coil 4. Install new CHW coil 5. Remove and dispose of old CHW coil
