The Work of this Contract, hereinafter referred to as “the Work”, generally includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following major elements: 1. Base Bid: South and East Elevations a. Protection of existing roof surfaces located at EIFS replacement locations; b. Removal of existing deteriorated EIFS cladding, including, EIFS coating, insulation board, and 2 layers of exterior gypsum sheathing. Existing steel studs shall remain. c. Repairs to existing, deteriorated steel studs; d. Installation of new water drainage EIFS wall assembly, including 2 layers of exterior gypsum board, at all locations of previously removed EIFS. e. Installation of V-Groove joints at existing locations. f. Removal and re-installation of existing metal coping system to facilitate installation of new EIFS wall cladding. g. Off-site disposal of all removed materials. h. All other work necessitated by these operations and all other work called for by the Contract Documents
