Renovation of a municipal facility in Norwich, Connecticut. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The City of Norwich (City) is accepting bids for an energy audit of and to retrofit the existing interior lighting at the Norwich City Hall, the Norwich Senior Center, the DPW Building and the Water Street Parking Garage. The intent of this project is to retrofit the existing lighting with high efficiency LED products that are either Design Lights Consortium (DLC) or Energy Star rated products, including, but not limited to, hardwired integrated LED retrofits for troffers. LED tubes, T8 LEDs and T8 LED tubes will not be considered. No LED retrofits for troffers that integrate or use the existing tombstones (lamp holders) or ballasts will be considered The City of Norwich reserves the right to reject and all bids, in whole or in part, to waive minor irregularities in the bidding and to award the bid to other than the low bidder if deemed in the best interest of the City.
