Reference Number 0000328142 Complete solicit information may be found in the attached documents. * Bids are requested for the City of Grand Rapids and West Michigan Cooperative Agencies for a one-year term contract with two, one-year renewal options for the purchase and delivery of bulk liquid aluminum sulfate, as per the specifications contained herein. * The intent of this bid is for the purchase, delivery, and unloading of bulk aluminum sulfate, that is ready and available for use in the production of potable water for the City of Grand Rapids and West Michigan Cooperative Purchase Agencies. No product development of any type, shape, or form shall be allowed or accepted over the life of the contract. Any products proposed shall have an extensive, proven track record of use in other municipal water systems, preferably the United States of America. The City and Cooperative Agencies desire product manufactured in the United States of America. Bid pricing proposed shall be based on dry weight (17%), and include all product pricing, delivery, labor, unloading from service vehicle, equipment (including air, fittings and hoses, if needed), materials, and incidentals. No deposits or demurrage of any kind shall be allowed or accepted. The product proposed and provided shall be manufactured from alumina trihydrate (ath), shall not exceed 75PPM iron content, and certification of such shall be provided with the bid document and each delivery. Product shall conform with AWWA Standard B403-16, ANSI/NSF Standards 60 and 61 (or the most recent standards thereof). Certification and SDS sheets shall accompany each delivery.
