Sealed bids are invited for the construction of the Install Temporary Protective Netting project at Tidewater Community College, Norfolk Campus, Project Code # L21TC234 (AP2022-008) located in Norfolk, Virginia. The contract shall be awarded on a lump sum basis as follows: the Total Base Bid Amount including any properly submitted and received bid modifications plus such successive Additive Bid Items as the Owner in its discretion decides to award in the manner set forth in Paragraph 12 of the Instructions to Bidders. Notice of Award will be posted on eVA, Virginia Department of General Services central electronic procurement The project is generally described as installation of temporary netting below the ceiling with attachments to the ceiling and walls to anchor the netting and perform localized removal and replacement of damaged stucco where visibly unstable or loose to serve as temporary safety measures to protect the building occupants in the event of a failure of the plaster ceiling that has been identified as intermittently delaminated. A Standard Commonwealth Bid Bond is required (form CO-10.2) and Contract Security is required for any bid regardless of the bid amount. The bidder or offeror shall be a registered vendor in eVA.
