Temporary Traffic Control services for Hampton Roads Structure and Bridge department. While attendance at this conference will not be a prerequisite to submitting a bid, bidders who intend to submit a bid are encouraged to attend. The conference will begin promptly at the time indicated. At the start of the conference the Contract Officer will conduct an attendance roll call to identify the individuals participating. Participants will be requested to provide their individual name, company name and contact information during the roll call The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as VDOT) is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide temporary traffic control services for Hampton Roads Districts Structure and Bridge division. The selected firm will provide services to the inspectors and bridge crews performing various bridge inspections and maintenance and repair projects throughout the district. VDOT will provide oversight and direction on all work performed under the resulting contract. PERIOD OF CONTRACT: From Date of Award through one (1) year with two (2) optional one (1) year renewals. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions Location Where Work Will Be Performed: The cities of Chesapeake, Emporia, Franklin, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Virginia Beach and Williamsburg as well as the counties of Accomack, Greensville, Isle of Wight, James City, Northampton, Southampton, Surry, Sussex and York. The bid opening will begin promptly at the time indicated. At the start of the conference the VDOT Representative will conduct a roll call to identify the individuals participating on the call. Participants will be requested to provide their individual name, company name and contact information during the roll call.
