Renovation of a multi-residential development in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
All questions arising from this pre-bid conference will be addressed by addendum, if necessary. 1. The elevator modernization project consists of a comprehensive, turnkey, and code compliant installation of two (2) traction elevators. 2. The Elevator Contractor shall be the "prime contractor" and responsible for the management and cost of all work necessary to complete the project, unless otherwise specified. 3. The prime contractor shall include any and all General Contractor work in their base bid. 4. Contractor shall provide an engineering report from a certified engineer, on each elevator. This report shall detail the reaction force increase with increasing the elevator speed, changing from geared to gearless and any cab weight modifications. Any structural modifications or reinforcement required within that report shall be the responsibility of the elevator contractor.
