The North Shore Water Reclamation District hereby gives notice that sealed Bids will be received for the Retention Basin Sedimentation Chamber Cleaning project at the Gurnee Water Reclamation Facility The work generally consists of entering one (1) enclosed sedimentation basin at the Gurnee Water Reclamation Facility in order to clean accumulated sludge from the bottom. The CONTRACTOR is responsible for all confined space entry, supplying equipment, labor, and disposal services in order to fully clean the sedimentation basins. It is estimated that up to 500 cubic yards of sludge are to be removed. CONTRACTOR shall work with OWNER in order to determine appropriate time to perform work. Work shall not be scheduled when rain events are forecasted.
