THE BIDS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY 1. A PROPOSAL BOND APPROVED BY THE COUNTY SOLICITOR IN AN AMOUNT EQUAL TO 10% OF TOTAL BID, BUT NOT IN EXCESS OF $20,000.00. 2. A certificate (Consent of Surety) as per N.J.S.A. 40A:11-22 from a Surety Company stating that it will provide the bidder if successful, with a performance bond and payment bond in the sum of not less than the total contract. 3. Each Bid must be signed in ink by an authorized representative of the company, and be delivered at the place and on the hour named above. If mailed, the sealed bid envelop must be within an outer mailing envelope, and be received at the Office of the County Purchasing Agent prior to the hour named above. The Purchasing Agent or The Board of County Commissioners, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities and to award the contract to the bidder whose proposal is best suited to the County's requirements. Any bid obviously unbalanced may be rejected.
