Description: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District (AC Transit or District) is requesting firm fixed price bids from qualified, responsive, and responsible firms to replace the existing 10,000-gallon Diesel Single Wall Underground Storage Tank (UST) and 6,000-gallon Gasoline Single Wall Underground Storage Tank (UST) with a new split-cell Above Ground Storage Tank (AST) at the Districts Central Maintenance Facility (CMF). The new split-cell AST will have a capacity of 8,000 gallons, with 4,000 gallons allocated for Diesel and 4,000 gallons for Gasoline. For the technical and engineering specifications regarding this IFB, please refer to Divisions 01-32 for a more detailed description. Scope of Work: The objective of this project is to replace the existing 10,000-gallon Diesel Single Wall Underground Storage Tank (UST) and 6,000-gallon Gasoline Single Wall Underground Storage Tank (UST) with a new split-cell Above Ground Storage Tank (AST) at the Districts Central Maintenance Facility (CMF).
