The term of a contract awarded as a result of this Request for Proposals shall begin on September 25, 2023, with work to begin no later than October 2, 2023. Every effort should be exercised to complete the stream debris removal project and satisfactory inspection of same by November 27, 2023. Invoices may be submitted periodically as work progresses or no later than November 27, 2023. From the date of this advertisement until the date of opening the proposals, the Request for Proposals is and will continue to be on file in the Finance Office of the Beaufort County Purchasing Department,132 W 2 nd Street, Washington, NC 27889 during regular business hours and available to prospective bidders. Minority/Women owned businesses are encouraged to submit proposals The Beaufort Soil and Water Conservation District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality, and award contracts that appear to be in its best interest. The right is reserved to hold any or all proposals for a period of sixty (60) days from the bid opening thereof.
