The Texas Tech University System (Texas Tech) seeks Statements of Qualifications and Proposals for Furniture, Fixtures, Equipment & Installation from qualified firms for the Project described below. The successful firm will contract directly with Texas Tech and will work cooperatively with Texas Tech and other Project team members to successfully provide the furniture, fixtures, equipment, and installation requested and complete the full scope of the Project within the Project budget and on schedule. Proposers shall provide a proposal for all items in the attached specifications, per the attached bid worksheet and furniture plans. Vendor is responsible for verifying quantities of items per the plans. Electronic AutoCAD drawings are included as part of this RFP. The specifications detail items to be used as a Basis-of-Design. Respondent shall submit specified products if possible. If it is not possible to submit a specified product, respondent shall submit product deemed as equal to specified product along with justification for equal product. Finishes must match specified products. If submitting a substitution, please include requirements as detailed under Proposal Requirements. Written Inquiries Due : Monday, August 14, 2023, 5:00 PM CT The successful firm(s) will be responsible for field verifying all dimensions related to furniture, fixtures, and equipment before order placement. 4.4 The successful firm(s) must perform all work in strict compliance with applicable provisions of prevailing Local, State, and Federal codes and ordinances, including appropriate license laws. 4.5 The successful firm(s) shall honor all manufacturers' warranties. Warranties for all specified items shall be no less than (10) years unless noted otherwise in the specifications. 4.6 The successful firm(s) will be required to attend (1) pre-installation meeting approximately 4 to 6 weeks prior to commencement of installation. 4.7 The successful firm(s) will be required to furnish all labor, supplies, tools, and other resources needed to successfully complete installation. Installation oversight shall be provided by a consistent member of the installation team for the entire duration of the awarded scope(s) of work. This team member must stay in contact daily with Texas Tech regarding installation progress.
