Along the north side of Harvie Heights Road, within the Municipal District of Bighorn, there are nine (9) commercial use lots in a row, scaled and zoned for short-term visitor accommodation and related development. All lots are fully serviced to the property line with municipal water and sewer service from the Town of Canmore. Seven are fully developed, some of which have older developments suitable for demolition/reconstruction. One lot is under construction on the east end (Basecamp Resort - Skyview), and one is currently vacant but is proposed for development, subject to development permit approval (Banff Legacy Inn). There are two additional municipal-owned lots adjoining the east end of the commercial strip, which are used for utility servicing. RFP Deadline for Questions/Final Addenda: September 1, 2023 Project Award Date: October 10, 2023. The Project should be completed by July 31, 2024. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
