City of Bethany will receive sealed bids for the construction of: Police Headquarters Building Addition (G.O. Bond PROP. 3-B) All bids shall remain on file at least ten (10) days thereafter before a contract shall be made and entered into thereon. Bids shall also be made in accordance with the prevailing hourly rates of wages (if applicable) for this locality and project as determined by the Commissioner of Labor and filed with the Secretary of State, a copy of which prevailing hourly rate of wages is made a part of this notice by reference as though fully set forth herein. Bids received more than twentyfour (24) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, before the time set for opening of bids, as well as bids received after the time set for opening of bids, will not be considered and will be returned unopened. A cashier's check, a certified check, or a surety bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder. The City of Bethany reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
