Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Davenport, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Eastern Iowa Community Colleges (EICC) is accepting bids for its Scott Community College, Blong Technology Center Parking Lot Project, 8500 Hillandale Road, Davenport, Iowa. The scope of this project is to remove and replace +/- 8,235 sq. ft. of deteriorated parking lot concrete, and add +/- 980 sq. ft. of new parking lot concrete. The contractor shall layout and saw cut the existing concrete parking area, remove the damaged concrete, excavate to a depth of 1'-6", replace the original sub-base with 6" of suitable compacted granular sub-base (sub-base can be recycled crushed PCC material), compact subbase to support new PCC, install new 1/2" rebar 2'- 0" OC, drill and install 24" x l"steel dowels 16" OC-12" deep into existing concrete and secure with epoxy adhesive, place 10" of 4,500# PCC in the excavated area and finish per standard IADOT recommendations. Remove all debris from site and finish grade any damaged earth edges. Clean up of all areas upon completion. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals.
