The new residence hall consists of approximately 134,600 sf with 405 total beds consisting of both student beds and staff apartments. The building also includes study rooms, lounges, game room, kitchens, staff areas and support spaces. We are seeking a CxA to evaluate the construction documents, finished building and all supporting systems in the building. Following the receipt of proposals, members of the designer selection committee will review proposals, create shortlist, conduct interviews and make a recommendation of selection to the University Board of Trustees. Please note that shortlisted firms will be notified by September 7th and interviews will be held the week of September 11th. The project is located at the corner of Bluford Street and Stewart St The selected firm will work through the NC A&T State University Office of the University Engineer and State Construction Office. Critical Selection Factors Interested firms can participate in the process by submitting a current SF 330 form and addressing the following in a written proposal. Please note that two hard copies and one electronic copy on a thumb drive of the proposal is requested. The length should be limited to 20 pages (single sided = 20 pages, double sided = 10 pages), exclusive of the SF 330. Firms are requested to assure receipt of proposals at address listed below by 3pm on September 5, 2023.
