Site work and renovation of a civil project in Jennings, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of January 31, 2024, the project has been awarded, however, a timeline for construction has not been confirmed. Water System Improvements consisting of approximately 440 LF of 4" Class 200 PVC or IPS HDPE DR 11 Pipe, 5,250 LF of 6" IPS HDPE DR 11 Pipe, 1 each 2" gate valve, 6 each 4" gate valves, 5 each 6" gate valves, reconnection of existing water services, connections to existing water main, telemetry system improvements, generator building roof improvements, interior and exterior water tower painting and miscellaneous appurtenances. Each BID must be accompanied by a BID bond payable to the OWNER for five percent of the total amount of the BID The BIDDER agrees to fully complete the Project within 180 consecutive calendar days. The BIDDER accepts the provisions of the Agreement as to liquidated damages in the event of failure to complete the Work on time. Liquidated damages shall be $500.00 per calendar day.
