Site work and paving for a civil project in Johnston, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

Construction of the 2023 BEAVER CREEK BANK STABILIZATION including all materials, labor and equipment necessary for the installation of approximately: 2,660 CY of Earthwork, 1770 SY Recreational Trail, PCC, 6 in., 3310 TON of Class E Revetment, tree clearing, erosion control, surface restoration and miscellaneous related work and appurtenances. The work shall be performed at Beaver Creek west of Merle Hay Road and north of I-35/80. Liquidated damages in the amount of Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($750.00) per day will be assessed for each day that the work remains uncompleted after the end of the contract period. Payment for the work will be made by the City in cash from such funds as may be legally available including cash on hand, proceeds from the sale and issuance of General Obligation Bonds and such other funds including the proceeds from the sale and issuance of such other Work on said project shall commence within ten (10) days of the issuance of a written notice to proceed. The notice to proceed is expected to be issued September 2023. The project shall be completed as follows: Final completion for the overall project, including punchlist items and surface restorations shall be completed by September 30, 2024. The City reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any and/or all technicalities and/or all irregularities.
