Site work for a water / sewer project in Tacoma, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project includes, but is not limited to: This work will consist of repairs to the existing Seawater System which is showing signs of rapid deterioration for the ductile iron components of it. This work has a heavy civil component of it and will be done within the Shoreline Development Zone in Point Defiance Park requiring coordination with the City of Tacoma. This work will consist of exposing the existing ductile iron components of the seawater system that are badly corroded and replacing them with a more appropriate system for that environment. Work will need to be phased so that the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium does not lose access to seawater during the project. The base bid estimate range is $30,000.00 - $45,000.00. Time of completion is 45 calendar days. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
