Demolition, site work and addition to a residential development in Burrell Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the addition of a residential development; for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.

Kitchen Renovation Project - Chestnut Ridge, Hemlock Way, Point Street and Salt Street Bid Documents - General Construction Contract GC-1 The name and address of the Contractor submitting the bid(s) should also be clearly labeled on the outside of each bid envelope. The project consists of demolition, removal and replacement of kitchen cabinets, counters, backsplashes, sinks, lighting, range hoods, gas ranges, refrigerators and related construction at the Housing Authority owned apartment complexes located in Burrell Township and Saltsburg Borough, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. A certified check or bank draft made payable to the order of "Housing Authority of Indiana County", U.S. Government Bonds, or a satisfactory Bid Security (Bid Bond) executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total Bid, must accompany the Bid in accordance with the Instruction To Bidders. No Bid Surety shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed or cannot comply with any requirements set forth in the plans, specifications or any applicable statutes of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or any applicable municipal ordinances. A Bid may not be modified, withdrawn or cancelled by the Bidder within sixty (60) calendar days following the time and date designated for the receipt of Bids, without the written consent of the Housing Authority. The surety must be a Guarantee or a Surety Company acceptable to the U.S. Government as published in the U.S. Treasury Circular No.576 and must be licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for an assurance of completion of project in the form of Payment and Performance Bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price; a cash escrow in the amount of twenty percent (20%) of the Contract Price; or an irrevocable letter of credit in the amount of twenty-five percent (25%) of the Contract Price. Bids must be submitted individually on a lump-sum basis for each bid. Separate Bids for individual trades will not be accepted. Projects are to be substantially completed within 180 calendar days from the date of award of Contracts. This contract is federally assisted. The Contractor must comply with the Davis-Bacon Act. The Housing Authority of Indiana County reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject Bids.
