The Township of St. Joseph invites quotes from qualified contractors with WSIB and insurance coverage to provide quotes for labour, and materials to complete the following projects. At the Richards Landing Marina 1140 Richards Street, Richards Landing to remove and replace existing siding on the Lighthouse, and remove and replace a section of ground level boardwalk and minor repairs to boardwalk section. At the Trefry Centre, 1601 C line Richards Landingin, install new eavestrough and downspout to divert water from a doorway. - Review current lighthouse drawings.
- Visit Lighthouse to verify existing layout and materials needed to complete project.
- Visit Boardwalk to verify existing layout and materials needed to complete project.
- Visit Trefry Centre to verify existing layout and materials needed to complete project.
- Remove existing cement board siding on lighthouse.
- Provide materials and labour to replace siding with Malbec CanExel Ced'R-Vue Snap-Lap 6" composite siding in white and use corresponding trim to finish.
- Provide material and labour to paint existing red metal trim on lighthouse in same colour in rust protection paint appropriate for application.
-Dispose of all waste siding and leave area in clean condition.
- Remove existing boardwalk from boat launch to metal boardwalk - Approximately 90' in length x 6' wide with dimensional lumber provided by The Township of St. Joseph with appropriate fasteners provided by contractor.
- Remove and replace 16 identified boards on west boardwalk with lumber provided.
- Dispose of all waste lumber.
- Provide material and labour to allow installation of new eavestrough and downspout on the storage addition of the Trefry Centre, 1601 C Line, Richards Landing, above the side door and away to the side of the building.
- Dispose of any waste created by the installation of the new eavestrough. All work must be completed before October 31, 2023. Documents can be obtained at: https://stjosephtownship.com/town-hall/bids-and-tenders/ Tender Cancelled. (no bids received). Will be retendered at a later date.
