The City of Dayton (Dayton) is considering the addition of production wells in and around the northwest portion of the Miami Well Field. The plan is to increase the number of production wells without negatively impacting the current production wells or the safe yield. For purposes of well field development and Ohio EPA requirements relative to water supply well approval, Dayton is requesting proposals from consultants proficient in MODFLOW fate & transport (F & T) and other hydrogeological models. It is possible to build upon the existing F & T study of the Miami North Well Field (AKA Rip Rap Road Well Field) in terms of hydrogeological information. Question Deadline 09/08/2023 at 12:00 PM ET Dayton will provide this report, production/interceptor well flow rates, construction details and well logs, monitoring well logs, and other groundwater memorandums, as appropriate. It is possible that Dayton will increase the footprint of recharge lagoon(s) in the area based on options presented by the consultant. The factory or producer pays and/or provides at least the minimum wages and/or benefits as required by law in the jurisdiction in which the factory or producer is located. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any irregularities in a proposal, or to accept the proposal(s) which in the judgment of proper officials, is in the best interest of the City. The City reserves the right to accept a part or parts of a proposal unless otherwise restricted in the RFP or issue subsequent RFPs. The City reserves the right to approve or reject any sub-Contractors proposed for work under this proposal or waive any minor irregularities
