Renovation of a municipal facility in Mount Holly, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The County of Burlington seeks bids for the provision of goods/services per the specifications issued for the solicitation of bids titled "2023-2024 Mount Holly Complex Upgrades Phase 2: Passenger Elevator Modernization at the Burlington County Courts Facility" (CPU-23-0045). The County is not responsible for any internet or electronic issues that may include, but not be limited to, connection issues, technical difficulties, errors, power outages, etc. The Division of Purchasing's public office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (local time), County holidays excluded. All solicitations are subject to change. It is the responsibility of the vendor to check the website for any future addenda, revisions, etc. prior to the opening date. Failure to do so could result in rejection of your bid submission. Question Deadline 09/05/2023 at 5:00 PM ET. All questions must be submitted electronically. No questions will be answered after this date. The proposed Elevator Modernizations shall include but not be limited to the following: Replacement of Three (3) Passenger Elevators Existing Shaft, Guide Rails, Hoist Beam, Counterweights, Cab Framework, and Floor Structure Shall Remain New Car Finishes Replacement of Hoistway Lifting Machines, Speed Governors, Lift Cables. Replacement of Electronic Control Equipment Trades Required: General Construction Electrical Mechanical CONTRACT TIME: 730 Calendar Days Bids must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check in the amount of 10% of the bid, not to exceed $20,000 and shall be made payable to the Burlington County Treasurer. Within ten (10) days of the date of the notice of intent to award a contract to the bidder, the bidder must submit a performance bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount to the County of Burlington, via the County's representative. The Performance and Payment Bond must be drawn to the Board of County Comissioners of the County of Burlington in an amount equal to the contract amount. The County of Burlington may reject all bids for any of the following reasons: a. The lowest bid substantially exceeds the cost estimate for the project; b. The lowest bid substantially exceeds the County's appropriation for the project; c. The Board of County Commissioners decides to abandon the project; d. The County wants to substantially revise the specifications for the project; e. The purposes of provisions or both of the New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law (P.L.1971,c.198,N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq.) are being violated; and f. The Board of County Commissioners decides to use the State authorized contract pursuant to section 12 of P.L.1971,c.198 (C.40A:11-12) If all bids are rejected, bid guarantees will be returned with three (3) days of the date of determination to reject. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: $2,000 Per Calendar Day
